Welcome to KEN MAR

Ken Mar is named after our wonderful parents Kenneth and Marjorie. Ken Mar is Carolyn Mills who is living in Florence, Colorado and Ken Mar II is her sister Helen Angle living in Phoenix, Arizona. Helen actually owned the first Papillon and Carolyn fell so in love with her that she she took off from there raising and showing these lively little dogs. Helen followed suit. You can read more about the beginning on the show pics page and the article accessible on that page. They have been showing, breeding and loving this bred for over 25 years. If there is a question concerning this breed whether it be grooming, breeding, showing or a number of other things either of these ladies are a wealth of information. They always strive for the better of the breed through selective breeding for health, temperment and conformation. The Papillons in their homes are not "kennel" dogs. They are handled and worked with daily. Both ladies are long standing members of the Papillon Club Of America. AKC has the official "Breed Standard" on their site.
