Every show I attend includes Ken Mar Paps, bred by Carolyn Mills, or Ken Mar II Paps, bred by her sister Helen Angle. Not only do the Paps look excellent but their owners are always friendly people, generally handling their own dogs as class dogs and champions. Many of these people are from Colorado where Carolyn is located. In 2006 and 2007, several of my friends bought Pap puppies from Carolyn and I watched these cute puppies with big ears and socialized temperments grow into lovely show dogs. Each person told me that Carolyn invited them to visit her home and see her litters and adult dogs. Everyone reported that they enjoyed their visit, found the dogs to be socialized house dogs, and the puppies exactly what they wanted. They reported that Carolyn mentored them and encouraged them to handle their own dogs in the ring.
